After some ah-mazing performances last night, the Top 10 artists from teams Adam, Blake, Christina and Cee Lo are hitting the stage again, but this time, they find out which of them have been saved by your votes, and the 2 who will be leaving The Voice. Holy buckets, we hope Nicholas David isn’t one of them!
Tonight on NBC….
After an electrifying performance of “Let There Be Love” from Christina Aguilera and her two remaining team members, Sylvia Yacoub and Dez Duron — where in our opinion, Dez should’ve been shirtless like the other men on stage, the Top 10 line up to find out which of them will be saved first.
And holy buckets, wouldn’t you know it… Nicholas David is safe!
Cassadee Pope’s recording of “Over You” reached #1 on iTunes, and with each of those votes being multiplied by 10, she’s also safe this week.
Next, Cassadee and Cody Belew join country superstars Rascal Flatts…. And we’re thinkin’ that country is definitely where Cassadee belongs.
The artists line up on stage again, (seriously, can’t they get them a couch like they do on American Idol?!) and Dez Duron and Cody Belew are both saved. Bam!
Adam Levine, Amanda Brown, Melanie Martinez and Bryan Keith hit the stage and perform “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” (we loooove it when Adam breaks out his guitar — swoon!), and yet again, the artists are paraded to the front. After being the last to be saved in the previous elimination, Melanie Martinez looks surprised to be the first from Team Adam to make it into the Top 8. (Melanie also received quite a few votes since her version of “Seven Nation Army” reaching #4 on iTunes.)
Teams Blake and Christina join forces to perform “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” — thanks to viewers’ tweets — and then….
Terry McDermott brings it home for Team Blake, also making it into the Top 8.
Team Cee Lo is also representin’ in the Top 8 with Trevin Hunte making it in (and Cee Lo dropping a few expletives in excitement).
That leaves Amanda Brown, Sylvia Yacoub, and Bryan Keith…
Of the three, America saved Team Adam’s Amanda Brown. So, that means we say goodbye to Bryan and Sylvia.
What did you think about tonight’s eliminations? Were you surprised to see Bryan and Sylvia eliminated (especially Bryan!)? Sound off in the Comments section below.
