Are you not a huge fan of hit show Two and a Half Men? Looks like you have something in common with Angus T. Jones, the star we’ve all watched grow up over the course of the show’s nearly ten year run. In a recent YouTube rant, Angus revealed that the only thing making the show at all bearable was the brief presence of Punk’d star Miley Cyrus.
This is certainly not the first time a Two and a Half Men star has badmouthed his own show. Who could forget the Charlie Sheen debacle in 2011? This time, though, the anti Men chaos stems from what we previously would have thought to be an unlikely source. In a surprising testimonial for the Forerunner Chronicles, Angus T. Jones advised, “If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it, and filling your head with filth. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch.”
Outside his video rant, Angus revealed that the reason for his anger has less to do with concerns over the health effects of TV and more to do with his recently limited presence on the show. He told E! News, “My character does Skype calls. He only does one scene Skype calls and that’s one reason it was awesome having Miley on the show, because they actually brought my character out of the computer and into the actual set again.”
Hmm, maybe we need a return of Miley Cyrus in order to patch things up. She did surprisingly well on the show last time she was featured — who’s to say she couldn’t repeat the hilarious performance?
