When you mix social media, celebrities, and mental issues, the cocktail can become explosive. LA Ink‘s Kat Von D is joining the ranks of stars that have crazy stalkers. Just like the latest fiasco with Miley Cyrus and her scissor intruder, Kat Von D has secured a restraining order against a fan named Michael Nunn, after he reportedly sent her candy, tweeted her phone number, and sent candy to her house. Read on for all the details!
Kat Von D went to L.A. county superior court to file the restraining order, claiming that she’s been stalked by Michael Nunn since early this year. Beginning in April, Michael showed up at her home, and called her from outside on the street. Shortly thereafter, he appeared at a public event that Kat Von D was attending. His relentless tweeting and calling led Kat to confront him. When Kat asked Michael to stop contacting her, he tweeted out her personal phone number.
It seems that Michael has deleted all the offending tweets, however Kat remains serious about the restraining order. The restraining order claims that Kat is not the only celebrity that Michael is obsessed with, and names quite a few others. The restraining order paperwork claims that Michael suffers from “delusional and paranoid tendencies, including a belief the FBI is watching him and that certain celebrities want to harm him.” the restraining order goes on to say “Suspect says in his communications that he believes [Von D] and others send him coded messages.” In one of the more nefarious tweets, Michael says “@thekatvond cute how you use your friends I figure eventually the game will just end and then we can meet like normal adults.”
A hearing is scheduled for Dec 21st in order to secure a permanent restraining order. Stay safe, Kat!
