With the new season of The Biggest Loser right around the corner, we are anxiously awaiting watching Jillian Michaels in action again. Recently, Michaels dished about season 14, and why she decided to take on working with teenagers! Details inside…
For the upcoming season of The Biggest Loser, they have added some teenagers to the mix, but they will be training at home for the most part. No one seemed more excited to work with these kids than Jillian Michaels, who as you may or may not know, is an advocate for childhood obesity, likely because she overcame it.
Speaking to People Magazine recently, Jillian Michaels explained why she is so hell bent on working with these teens: “This is not their fault. This is about an introduction to an active lifestyle and helping them feel better about themselves. It is about reeducating them and working on their goals.”
The teenagers, Sanjana Chandrasekar, Lindsay Bravo and Noah Gray, are all learning to handle their stress in healthier ways, and this season we’ll watch them all with Jillian Michaels, Bob Harper, and Dolvett Quince. But don’t worry, Sanjana Chandrasekar says that Jillian is much easier on them than on the adults. Whew! The 16-year-old also added: “Jillian told me that it is not really about how others perceive you but how you perceive yourself.”
