We’re happy to say that Brooke Burke-Charvet’s cancer surgery went well! Although the Dancing with the Stars host says she feels like she was “hit by a car,” everything else is good news. Now a member of the growing legion of celebrity cancer survivors, Brooke is gracious as always, having made a point of thanking both her fans and the medical team that helped the celeb through the ordeal.
Following news of Brooke Burke-Charvet’s cancer diagnosis, we witnessed an outpouring of support from the model’s dedicated fan base. This support has continued, with Brooke’s followers tweeting their best wishes before, during and after the surgery. After resting up for a bit, Brooke to Twitter to thank her fans with the following message: “so much love coming my way today via social media. Thank you 2 all my friends and supporters, I FEEL you! I’m online, thats a good sign :)”
Later, Brooke tweeted out another thank you for the great care provided by her medical team. “Feeling great. I’m so grateful for my medical team. I’m Hm resting, trying to be still in a hectic house. Not use to this :)”
All that resting appears to have been worthwhile, because Brooke’s now feeling much better. She tweeted another update this afternoon: “Rough night, but looking forward to another day of healing. Kind of a joke trying to rest with all kids. But, I’m getting there.”
Recovering from surgery is never an easy prospect, but we’re sure that Brooke will make it through. We wish her the best as she continues the recovery process and returns to her usual busy schedule!
