Kim Kardashian Low In The Rankings For AskMen’s Most Desirable Woman

December 11, 2012 04:30 PM by Stephanie Gustafson

Who is currently considered the most desirable woman in the entertainment industry? The answer to that question could vary widely depending on the perspective of the answerer. But the guys participating in a recent AskMen poll did agree on one thing (or at least, they did for the most part): Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian is no longer considered the most desirable woman or even in the top ten. Who managed to snag the award instead? Hint: it’s not Khloe or Kourtney!

Every year, AskMen polls its readers to find out which female celebrities they find most desirable. Factors determining desirability include physical attractiveness (of course), personality and talent, among others. This year’s big winner was Jennifer Lawrence, the striking star of the recent Hollywood hit The Hunger Games.

Kim Kardashian did not fare so well this year, dropping all the way from number 8 in 2011 to number 98 this year. The reality queen should feel grateful that she managed to stay on the list at all, because fellow reality stars such as Nicki Minaj were not even that lucky.

We know you’re wondering: how the hell did Kim Kardashian wind up on this list at all? According to AskMen, it had to do with recent career success (yeah, right…). The obligatory blurb about Kim provided the following set of tidbits: “Kim Kardashian, the reigning queen of reality television, certainly had a productive — and lucrative — 2012. Kim, the hotter half of KimYe, recently signed a new three-year deal with E! that will keep the Kardashians on the network through their series’ ninth season. The deal is worth an estimated $50 million. As further proof that Kim knows how to get paid, earlier in 2012, she launched two fragrances and a clothing line.”

Would Kim Kardashian have been your pick for most desirable woman? Or do you have a better candidate in mind? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below!

I find it interesting that with 97 women ahead of Kim K in this particular poll, the focus of this article is on #98! Perhaps it would make more sense to focus attention on the top ten instead of this untalented troll! Hardly worth my time to comment….

If Kim K. is so low in the rankings then why is the article still all about her? Why her photo? Why NOT a photo of #1 Jennifer Lawrence? It’s as though the media tries diligently to keep Kim K. in the spot light even though this survey is proof that we (especially men) don’t care to see her in the spot light. Personally the piece of trash makes me sick. She should stick to what made her famous in the first place… PORN

When will the media get it??
no adult cares about this family AND in 5 more yrs, you won’t even recognize Kim’s face with all of her botox and surgeries.

no matter how many “no name” mag shoots she does, its not IN to even mention them.

REAL Hollywood ignores them, and now so are we.

The blunt truth is that not only does Kim Kardashian not deserve to be the Most Desired Woman but NEITHER DO ANY OF THESE “REALITY-TELEVISION” WOMEN. In point of fact, ALL of these “reality-TV” fame skanks owe their celebrity not to any intrinsic quality they themselves have but to this country’s never-ending obsession with media figures. What Kimmy and all these 15-minute wonders should do is go back to the obscurity from which they came and clear a path for folks who genuinely merit being in the spotlight.

After I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a remark is added I get 4 emails with the same comment. Is there any way you possibly can remove me from that service? Thanks!
