Punk’d star; Lindsay Lohan failed to appear in court to face three misdemeanor charges stemming from a crash she had in June. Nonetheless, court proceedings went on without her and L.A. Commissioner, Jane Godfrey revoked Lohan’s probation. What does this mean for Lohan? It could mean eight-months in the slammer, a whopping 245 days! Take the jump for more details.
According to US Weekly, Lohan was scheduled to appear in court to face three misdemeanor charges, obstructing or resisting a police officer, providing false information to a police officer, and reckless driving. However, Lohan was too busy to worry herself with court proceedings. Instead, she chased The Wanted to London for a good time.
It wasn’t mandatory that Lohan appear in court but it may have looked better if she had. Commissioner Godfrey scheduled another hearing for January 15, 2013. During that hearing, a judge will make the determination if Lohan did in fact violate her probation. If the judge finds that Lohan did violate her probation, she could face up to 245 days in jail.
The January 15 ruling will come just days after Lohan is to appear in court to face possible misdemeanor assault charges for punching psychic Tiffany Mitchell in the face. All of these charges combined could result in a devastating judgment day for Lohan and land her in jail for quite some time. Or will it? Do you think she’ll get off with just another slap on the wrist?
What do you think about Lohan’s probation? Should the judge revoke it? Do you think she should go to jail? And if so, do you think it will make a difference? Or do you think she’ll be back up to her shenanigans just as soon as she’s released? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it! Post a comment below and tell us what you think.
