Earlier this week, we learned that Brooke Mueller was checking herself into rehab for the 19th time. And while she’s away receiving treatment for Adderall addiction, Denise Richards, star of Denise Richards: It’s Complicated was to care for Mueller’s twin boys, Max and Bob. But just days into her stay in rehab, Mueller became furious with Richards and had the twins removed from her care. Richards has cared for the twins on numerous occasions so what could have made Mueller so angry. Take the jump to find out!
According to TMZ, a source close to Charlie Sheen and both of his ex-wives said Mueller blew up at Richards because she called her at rehab to let her know she was taking her two daughters and Mueller’s twin boys to Sheen’s “Anger Management” Christmas party for kids.
Mueller became furious and told Richards her boys were “absolutely not” allowed to go to the party. In fact, she didn’t want her twins around Sheen at all. After the phone call, sources said one of Mueller’s attorneys called Richards and threatened her if she took the twins to the party.
Denise honored Mueller’s request and did not take the twins to the party, but Mueller was so angry about the situation that she sent her mother, Moira to Richards’ house the next day where she demanded Richards give her the twins… and she did.
While we are not certain exactly why Mueller doesn’t want the twins around their father, we’re told it has something to do with the fact that Mueller fired their longtime nanny and Sheen wants to rehire her. That’s hardly a reason to keep the boys from seeing their father, right? But since Mueller has both legal and physical custody of the boys, she’s in control.
Do you think Richards did anything wrong? Or did Mueller overreact? Post a comment below and let us know.
