December 17, 2012 09:00 AM by Lisa Princ

Last night, fans were finally able to catch the wedding of The Bachelorette‘s Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum, who joined the very tiny list of success stories from the franchise. But, how did they overcome the odds? Ashley and J.P. recently dished about why most of the Bachelor/Bachelorette relationships do not work out!

The Bachelorette‘s Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum shared their wedding with the world last night, and in case you’re one of the many wondering how they have managed to stay together when most of the franchise’s couples are broken up, Ashley and J.P. appear to have the secret!

The newlyweds appeared on The View last week, where Ashley Hebert told the hosts: “I think that people feel like they want it to happen so bad and they don’t actually trust their emotions. So I think if you stay true to yourself and true to your feelings, and you are yourself, you’re acting like yourself, then you get to know the other person a lot earlier.”

Could that be the secret to their success? Ashley’s husband, J.P. Rosenbaum explained that he did not worry Hebert’s dates with the other guys on the show, instead he stayed focus on his own dates with her. However, Rosenbaum added: “Ever since the second we met we’ve just had a connection.”

Whether they have it figured out, or if it was just an instant connection, we are definitely thrilled for the newlyweds! Did you tune in to their wedding last night? What did you think of the big day? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it! Sound off and share your thoughts with us below!
