LeAnn Rimes: What’s Next?

December 26, 2012 07:13 AM by Megan Wilson

LeAnn Rimes has had quite the time lately.  We can’t help but wonder, after her X Factor disaster last night alongside the amazing Carly Rose, if something more sinister is going on with the songstress.  From her rehab stint earlier this year to the accusation of laxative abuse, LeAnn continues to keep people guessing as to what’s really going on with Leann?

Leann Rimes started the year off on rocky terms with her husbands ex-wife, Brandi Glanville.  While there’s never been an ounce of peace between them, they are both frequently seen slinging mud.  Brandi claims that Leann abuses laxatives,  takes a host of other pills, and drinks like a fish.  Leann claims that Brandi is just bitter, and grasping at straws in order to portray LeAnn in an unsavory light.

Most recently, however, the majority of TV viewers that watched her X Factor performance are starting to believe LeAnn is not right.  During her duet with Carly Rose, Leann hit extremely sour notes, along with a sour half-blitzed look.  Rolling Stone said “Rimes’ greasy-haired, skin and bones dumpster-diver look was a total distraction. We couldn’t take our eyes off her. She’s only 30 – what in the h*ll happened to her? However, even if we had covered our eyes, the song was still a disaster. Their voices didn’t jell, and LeAnn’s raspy vocals just seemed to drag Carly’s usually flawless sound down in the muck.”  OUCH.   Carly Rose’s family was also upset, accusing LeAnn of throwing Carly under the bus, costing Carly the competition.

Whether LeAnn cost Carly the competition or not is debatable; what isn’t, however, is LeAnn Rimes’ appearance and performance.  From her stumbling around on stage to her shaky, gravelly voice, something is definitely amiss.  LeAnn’s rep released a statement about her performance to TMZ, saying that LeAnn was trying to help Carly Rose out during the song, since she was “Having trouble hitting the high notes.”  Well someone was hitting the highs, and it wasn’t Carly!  LeAnn took to Twitter to recant the statement TMZ released, saying “”It’s a shame that gossip and lies are overshadowing the performance of Carly.”

What’s next for LeAnn?  Will she be heading back to rehab soon, or do you think she’ll fade away back into the dark recesses of Hollywood?  Let us know in the comments!

Leann has had quite the year because she is her own worst enemy. She knew last year that 2012 wasn’t going to be a goof year for her, but she kept right on famewhoring anyway. Leann needs to lay low and close the twitter account because 2013 is going to be even worse. Even though both her singles have flopped, she is going to make a video for them? If the media had did their homework, they would have seen that since 2009 Leann’s fans have been complaining about how they think Leann is drunk on stage. Even at awards shows when Leann is on the red carpet and presenting, people have questioned if Leann was drunk. It’s interesting how the media is playing like this is something new. Leann exploits Brandi’s kids, so why is everyone shocked that she is now exploiting Carly? What’s next for Leann? She is still taunting Brandi with her own kids and single white femaling her. But the media only sees what they want to see and so acts like this “fued” is a mutual thing. Get ready because today, Leann has a ton of photos of Brandi’s kids to post to her twitter and fan website. And then the media wonders why Brandi gets so angry?

Is that you Brandi posing as “Sheis”……….? I suggest a dictionary and a grammar lesson. “Fued?? How about feud?? “If the media had did their homework” Try “If the media had done their homework” Seriously, I’m not a LeAnn fan, but I think it’s time to leave this young woman alone, but then I guess there’s no fun in that.
