Donald Trump Slams GOP In Response To Fiscal Cliff Deal

January 02, 2013 11:30 AM by Megan Wilson

Donald Trump, The Apprentice host and frequent social media drama queen, has made headlines again.  The Trump (And his hair) took to Twitter last night to vent some frustration about the fiscal cliff negotiations.  It’s pretty obvious he’d fire all of congress is he could!  What did he say?  Keep reading to find out!

Donald Trump is the constant fly in Obama’s ointment.  After his offer to donate $5 million to charity in return for Obama’s college records went unanswered, Donald remained oddly quiet.  Mark Cuban got in on the deal by offering to donate $1 million to charity if Donald shaved his head.  The Trump never responded to that, either.  Shortly before Christmas Donald resurfaced as a partner in Macy’s Christmas advertising campaign.  Macy’s customers boycotted his appearance in Macy’s ads with a “Dump Trump” petition, which although never garnered an official answer from Macys, after gaining over 400,000 signatures, the offending ad seemed to quietly disappear.  (I never saw the commercial air after the petition surfaced, so personally I’m calling the petition a success!)

Donald was quiet during the holidays, probably following the advice of his family to leave everyone alone.  He did, however, air his grievances regarding the Republican’s performance in the fiscal cliff negotiations via Twitter yesterday night.

“Obama and the Democrats are laughing at the deal they just made…the Republicans got nothing!” The Trump tweeted.  He followed that with, “I am a Republican…but the Republicans may be the worst negotiators in history!”  While the fiscal cliff was mainly negotiated by Vice President Joe Biden and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, we’re pretty sure they won’t be addressing the real estate giant’s criticism.

What do you think of Trump’s tweets?  Do his opinions still hold weight with you?  Let us know in the comments!

For all you ignorant low IQ voters out there and the (4) rather silly comments.Even if you had one iota of thought about what happened over the few days, you would still be lost.Donald Trump, wether you like him or not is correct. The demo-commies are evil at best, and the republipukes are just, well…stupid. It was a bad deal, and one that all Americans will have to deal with. You really think that the tax increases will only efffect the rich?WRONG….The middle class will bear the brunt of this tax bill.By the way,we have already gone over the fiscal cliff(scarry words right) when it was determained that the annual GNP would not pay the debt of this nation, and folks, that was last year.30 plus years of dumbing down in pubic screwls I guess…….
