Former American Idol mentor, Miley Cyrus was heartbroken last month when her Yorkie mix, Lila passed away. But she has found a way to deal with her grief and is keeping herself busy with a new love these days, Chihuahua mix, Bean.
According to US Weekly, Miley posted somber tweets on December 11 following the death of her beloved Yorkie mix, Lila. “Can’t think of one good reason to get out of bed today…” she tweeted. “For everyone asking…I have never been so hurt in my life. My heart has never been so broken…Lila my sweet baby girl has passed away.”
Then a few days later, in a blog post, Miley’s mom, Trish explained what had happened to Lila. “Miley still isn’t ready to talk about it, but I thought you guys should know what happened,” she wrote. “For some unknown reason, Ziggy…grabbed Lila. Not really sure if she was playing or what? She grabbed her in just the wrong spot and Lila didn’t survive.”
Trish went on to say that following the tragic incident, Ziggy was taken to SPOT dog rescue and “found a new home with no other pets or children…just in case it wasn’t a fluke.”
Miley has taken some time to grieve the loss of Lila and has decided to add a new member to her family of dogs. She adopted a Chihuahua mix and named her Bean. “Meet Bean,” she tweeted on Thursday. “Bean is a little girl. She is a Chihuahua mix of some type. She brought so much sunshine.”
Miley then followed by posting several pictures of her new puppy and captioned one with “My little burrito.” Uh oh… It sounds like Bean is already spoiled. How sweet!
Bean joins Miley’s other dogs, Floyd, Happy, Mary Jane, and Penny Lane.
What do you think of little Bean? Isn’t she the cutest? Post a comment and let us know what you think.
