Lindsay Lohan Is A No-Show For Court

January 07, 2013 01:12 PM by Megan Wilson

Guess what?  Lindsay Lohan didn’t show up to court today.  The Punk’d star is facing charges of 3rd degree assault, and her attorney showed up for her instead at the Manhattan Criminal Court.  So what happened next?  Keep reading to find out!

Lindsay Lohan, (Or, her attorney, at this point) is fighting assault charges after Lindsay was arrested back in November following a nightclub altercation with a psychic.  While Lindsay wasn’t there in person, we did hear from her attorney, Mark Heller, regarding the charges.

Mark Heller released a statement following the court proceeding: “It may very well be this case does not move forward…ironically a psychic fortune teller has predicted the year 2013 will be an extremely lucky year for Lindsay Lohan.”  The case has been delayed after the defense team quit pushing the investigation.

It seems that there may be more to the story that meets the eye, as well.  A witness came forward and said that Lindsay, “Did absolutely nothing wrong [and] had made no contact with the alleged victim.”

WOW.

Mark also believes that this whole thing is a sham.  ”From my understanding, Lindsay was being approached by a fortune teller who sought to provide a reading to her and she politely said ‘I don’t want to participate’ and declined. You would think if [Mitchell] was a fortune teller, she would have been able to see this happening in advance. But obviously her skills weren’t that honed.”  Is it me, or does this attorney seem  little unprofessional?  Either way, Lindsay is a free lady; at least until her upcoming hearing on a probation violation later this month.

Do you think everything will catch up with Lindsay or is she going to have the lucky year the psychic predicted?  Let us know in the comments!

So why is she so special that she doesn’t think that she doesn’t have to show up for court? Good thing I’m not her judge. I’d have a crowded over populated cell waiting for her right in the middle of the prison population.

At this point two things seem to be going on with Lindsay. The problems she caused herself and the problems brought-on by “gold-diggers” trying to cash in on her problems by fainning some kind of mis-treatment caused by the young actress. It’s a total mess!!!

Gee I cant believe she didnt show up—after all, all her other court appearances ended up with nothing but a slap on the wrist. In her mind she can do what she wants and does not have to worry about it because nothing will come of it. Put her in jail and this time keep her there!!!! Im just waiting on getting aressted for the same thing—im going to use the Lohan defense and get off.

Will there come a day when you touchholes will leave this woman alone?
How would you like it if YOU were the stalked instead of being the monkeys you are?

She cannot show up for court, but she can always show up for a party. I wonder what would happen if I pulled that stunt.

I say she should be sentenced to 25 years in prison and put her out of business in Hollywood. She is clearly a menace to society and should be kicked out of Hollywood.

So, what else is new? She knows they aren’t going to do anything to her. Or will they?

The court has a crowded over populated cell waiting for her right in the middle of the prison population. I support Lindsay L.

Good lord when you have money you can get away with anything. My mentally ill son was put back in jail for violating his probation. He is supposed to serve 35 days, but because of overcrowding he is probably serve only 20. He won’t get any professional help and I can’t force him to he is an adult. Money can make things go away pretty fast.

If it were my 26 year old, arrested for the 20th time, she would be labled “repeat offender”, slammed in jail and that would be that. Spoiled rotton Lohan should be forced to pay for her stupidity like the rest of us.

It is perfectly acceptable and legal for an attorney to represent a defendant at a pretrial hearing.

Additionally, its clear no crime was committed here, yet the vulgar mobs calling for her to be tossed in jail for years for nothing. No contact occurred according to the witnesses, this person approached Lohan uninvited (you never pushed someone out of your way that was harassing you?) and attempted to elicit work while Lohan was enjoying herself off hours.

Most stars have issues but some are magnets for scam artists like this psychic. And if you think I’m wrong about this individual being a scam artist, then listen up. She was a PSYCHIC. Any questions?

When is this young Lady going to realize she is not above the law? What’s it gonna take? Is she going to have to kill someone while on one of her binges? Will she have to end up in the hospital or worse? Will she wise up before she is just another statistic of Hollywood starlet found dead? I seriously doubt it. Heck, if it were you or I that missed a court date they would have us arrested immeadiatly and thrown UNDER the jail. I guess her money will buy her out of another spat with the law this time. Maybe she needs a judge that will stand up and make her accountable for her actions. She needs a wake up call in a Jail somewhere or maybe a prison sentence for a year or so to snap her back to the real world.

so when your friends stole your stuff and they thought they got away with it did you ever think the fbi were already hunting you down for fraud or did you try explaining this all to the real judge when you were caught with a necklace and the car crashes and the other crashes and then just then with the trials and the world just wasn’t enough you decided to worry about rehab too and on top of that you were to clean in the morgue and with such financial instability you were going to try to land yourself in an insane asylum for what exactly when you knew after you killed once you would need to try it again even on yourself and nobody ever worried that it was going to land you in prison for ten to twenty years as well so when you thought you had had enough of this game and trials you hoped to run around without harm is that right because you murdered me and i stopped you from purchasing it anyways and i stopped you from going to your friends to help her and i stopped you from going to your family when you were in trouble and i stopped you from being even enlightened enough to sit in jail and quit smoking for good i stopped you from turning this world into a ball of fun over the notes you stole and whether my family were to claim a reward for your sorry lost rich white ass you would still not have seen this coming i stopped you in the train station and i stopped you in the air port triing to hide and i stopped you in the arena and the game to go to the bathroom and giggle at your rich life and i stopped you at the court when they needed on their that you were free and i stopped you from getting far enough on this highway and i stopped you from bleeding to death each and every one of you here i stopped you from making too many mistakes like escaping cause your all trained right but not on my side your not. your not trained for this. damning and silencing and hating and hurting and yelling and screaming and beating and raping and eating and curseing your life and how it should have gone.
    what can go wrong?
just a newbie caterer turned writer to watch her trained to act killers life unravel on his side of the story.

Actually, she may not have be required to show up. Sometimes, in the early stages of a case, it is perfectly normal for the lawyer to show up solo for his client.

You know – who really give a care about this person. She has become plastic and careless, a druggie, drunk, manipulator ..shall we go on and on and on??? Please stop before we all throw ourselves off some roof! She should be in jail already. Why is it that these so-called stars get such preferential treatment? An ordinary citizen would be in the slammer and facing a lifetime of scrutiny. This is not what is called “Fair and Impartial” at all!

She really looks so horrible. All the work she has had done really makes her look terrible. She looked to cute and very attractive a few years ago, before all the coke and drinking ruined her life. Her face just looks fake now. Nasty looking really.
