Sean Lowe may have taken over as center of attention on the new season of The Bachelor, but Emily Maynard’s feedback is still deemed of utmost significance. After all, this is the guy Emily decided to reject during her time as the Bachelorette. Fashion lover to the end, Emily shares her thoughts on the best and worst dresses of this season’s premiere.
Emily Maynard still wants to be involved in The Bachelor in at least some capacity, which is why the reality star is now the official Bachelor fashion critic for InStyle. Emily was happy to share what she thought about the many dresses displayed during last night’s premiere, from Selma’s understated black ensemble (“Fit to perfection!”) to Lindsay’s daring wedding dress (“I’d never have the guts to do it!)
One of Emily’s favorite looks of the night belonged to Desiree, a bridal stylist who could have given Lindsay a tip or two about choosing the appropriate wedding dress for a Bachelor entrance. Emily gave Desiree kudos for her sleek red dress, and not just because it looked good: “Desiree’s red gown looked really beautiful on her, and she designed it herself, so if things were to work out with Sean, I’m excited to see her wedding dress!”
Emily also appreciated Diana’s look, although she was more focused on the hair than on the dress itself. “I’m really looking forward to Diana’s fashion in the coming weeks because, based on her first night dress with the side fishtail braid, she’s got unique personal style, which I always love.”
