Last night was the much anticipated season premiere of The Bachelor on ABC, where we watched as Sean Lowe decided to shake things up a bit. But, did that very shake up play a part in creating the
next Courtney Robertson villain of the season? Chris Harrison dished recently on the girls, and gave his predictions of what we can expect to see this season, and who will stand out!
The Bachelor kicked off with twist last night, as Sean Lowe decided to change things up a bit and hand out roses before the actual rose ceremony. When a striking brunette named Tierra made a huge impression on him, he went to get her a rose before she even entered the mansion, but did he do her more harm than good? In the previews for the rest of the season at the end of the show last night, it appears that Tierra takes on an attitude this season that mirrors that of the one that Courtney Robertson had on Ben Flajnik’s season, and Chris Harrison has an explanation for it.
According to TV Guide, when Harrison was asked about Tierra becoming this season’s villain, Chris replied: “I think it’s one of those situations where she captured his attention so you’re already in the cross hairs and it’s how you handle yourself, and she doesn’t do a lot to ingratiate herself to the girls. She takes the whole, “I’m not here to make friends” route. Why bring that on yourself? That’s her style, and it starts rubbing the women the wrong way, and the more Sean is taken with her the rougher it gets.” That definitely sounds like it will make for some drama this season!
But, who does Chris Harrison think will stand out as the fan favorites? Harrison has a few in mind, as he added: “I think Sarah will be a favorite, and I’m interested to see what people think of Desiree, who didn’t get a lot of time last night as girls tend to not when they’re going to go further. She has this very young Katie Holmes thing and she’s very laid back. I also think people will get to know and love Lindsay. She might be a comeback girl.”
