Honey Boo Boo To Become A Superhero!

January 09, 2013 04:00 PM by Stephanie Gustafson

She’s a pageant princess, reality star and the ultimate redneck, but is Honey Boo Boo capable of transforming into a superhero? The answer is yes, thanks to help from artist Michael Troy and the team at Bluewater Productions. Get ready, because Here Comes Honey Boo Boolike you’ve never seen her before!

Alana Thompson has always wanted to be a real superhero, and now, the pageant star’s wish is about to come true! Alana will be the animated star of the 15 Minutes: Honey Boo Boo, an homage to Wonder Woman. The featurette will be available on iTunes, Kindle, Wowio and My Digital Comics. Each exclusive comes with a unique homage to Honey Boo Boo, with the Wowio and My Digital Comics version featuring Glitzy the Pig!

Already having seen herself in comic book form, Honey Boo Boo decided that what she really needed was to be animated. In 2012, an insider told The Enquirer, “[Alana] says that if she were in a cartoon, she could do anything.” Bluewater Productions was quick to respond, with publisher Darren G. Davis explaining, “We heard that Alana wanted to be animated and wanted to be a superhero, so we granted that by having her in these iconic covers.”

Honey Boo Boo will not be the only celeb featured in the 15 Minutes series. These animations will look at several other reality stars, recognizing reality television as a medium that has sparked interest all over the world and isn’t likely to depart any time soon.

Will you be watching the animated version of Honey Boo Boo? Feel free to let know by leaving a comment!

You must be kidding. How ridiculous this “family: is. The poor English, the outfits, the food are so crass. How can she be a superhero. She is a poor pitiful young girl being used by her parents as a meal ticket. Get his crap off TV, tabloids, etc.

When is this nonsensical nightmare going to end???? This entire family is nothing but white trailer trash and yet they are everywhere I look; on Yahoo, on magazine covers at the stores, everywhere, and I think it’s enough of an insult to our intelligence. It’s gone on long enough, now it’s time to stop this ignorant garbage and stop making these people into *shudder* role models!!!!
