The Biggest Loser Exclusive Blog With Francelina Morillo: Week Three

January 16, 2013 09:18 AM by Christine McDow

Last nights episode of The Biggest Loser was full of ups and downs. Week 3 we had our very first pop challenge and the losing team had to spend 4.5 hours a day locked in a children’s game room filled with all the temptations that got us to the ranch. We had to play a quiz game show and the questions were all about childhood obesity. The first few answers were so shocking that all the teams got them wrong. As we hear the answers to the questions none of us could believe that the childhood obesity epidemic was really this bad. After a nail biting race, the red team comes out victoriously and the blue team is sent to the “torture chamber” for 4.5 hours a day.

During a workout that I did with Jillian she decided to take time to get to know a little bit more about me and my struggles in life before the ranch. This was a very emotional time for me because it got me to open up about my father who I lost at the age of 16. My father was an alcoholic for most of my life and there were a lot of trying times when it came to him growing up. I wanted so badly to forgive him, because I knew if I didn’t make that large leap and fix things on the inside, I may never really fix the problems on the outside.

The workouts are hard as always, but this week a little more intense since the red team is undefeated in the weigh department. Dolvett is really expecting a lot out of us and it’s our mission to continue the winning streak!

At the weigh in the blue team kills it with 42 lbs and the red team is definitely thinking we can contend with that. Lucky me, I’m first to weigh in. I lost 5 lbs this week and I’m genuinely happy about that. I have kept a very strong weight loss average over these past 3 weeks and if I can continue this, I think I can hang on for awhile. After a crazy series of 2lb weight loss from the majority of our team, red team loses the weigh in. It’s a sad feeling knowing that were going to have to send someone home and even scarier knowing that it could be me. I’m the biggest girl on my team, biggest girl on the show, so it could easily be me. As the votes are revealed, cate falls victim to elimination. This was very sad for all of us because it was the first time we actually had to vote someone off and tell them why. I love cate, I know she is a strong individual and she will do well at home. When it comes to eliminations we never want to go through with it, but it’s just all part of the game and at the end of the day you have to just keep your fingers crossed that you’ll be safe.

Be sure to tune in next week, there are a whole new set of twists and turns!
