Taylor Swift, fresh off her break-up with Harry Styles, has been the target of many a joke lately. After Olivia Munn’s crack at the People’s Choice awards, it seems that the X Factor star’s dating ways have become a staple for humor in Hollywood. The Golden Globes served as a stage for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to poke fun at Taylor’s dating history, targeting Michael J. Fox’s son as her next victim. What did Michael say? Keep reading to find out!
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are comedy queens, and fittingly joked that Taylor may set her sights on Michael J Fox’s son, Sam Michael. During the Golden Globes, Sam Michael served as Mr. Golden Globe. Tina Fey started the jokes, saying, “You know what Taylor Swift? You stay away from Michael J Fox’s son!” Amy Poehler added, “Or go for it, go for it,” but Tina said, “She needs some ‘me’ time to think about herself.” The camera fittingly focused on Michael during the exchange, and he seemed entertained by the bit.
At a book party later, however, Michael opened up about his true feelings about Taylor to Vulture.com. When asked if Michael would allow his son to date Swift, Michael admitted, “I don’t keep up with it all. But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right?” When the reporter confirmed that Taylor DOES write songs about her exes, Michael said, “What a way to build a career. I wouldn’t even know who she was.” When asked if he would have a problem with the two dating, Michael said he’d definitely find out about it once the breakup song hit the airwaves. Michael alluded to the inevitable conversation between him and his son, saying it would go something like this: “Sam, You Piece of Sh–.’ Oh … that was the girl you brought home!”
All joking aside, Sam does fit Taylor’s type, don’t you think? Who’s next in Taylor’s ill-fated love life? Let us know in the comments!
