Losing a beloved pet is never easy, so we’re sure Denise Richards is having a tough time of it in the aftermath of her dog’s death. Fortunately, the star of Denise Richards: It’s Complicated is blessed with a dedicated fan base, the members of which have been quick to offer words of support.
Denise Richards recently lost her good canine friend Hank. She announced the sad news a few days ago with the following tweet: “last night we lost our beloved Hank..I will miss him dearly,13 yrs old ..been there for me thru it all Best.”
Following Denise’s tweet of tribute, fans showed up via Twitter with an outpouring of support. Entertainment Tonight host Nancy O’Dell was quick to comfort her buddy, tweeting, “Hey, my friend. I emailed u too. So sorry to hear about Hank. I know how much u loved him!” The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) also sent a kind message to Denise: “So sorry for your loss. Thank you so much for giving him a loving home for so many years..:
After hearing from fans all over the world, Denise decided to offer a huge thank you for all the love. She returned to Twitter to say, “Thank you so much for your kind messages about Hank…it means alot to me. You guys are the best..so thoughtful & kind…xo.”
In addition to the many kind Twitter messages she’s received, we’re sure Denise will be comforted by her other canine friends, including Tara, the adorable black lab Denise adopted in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. And who knows — Denise just might wind up with another new puppy in the near future!
