This season on The Biggest Loser, Jillian Michaels made her return, and despite the loss of most of her team, we have seen a very hard trainer in Michaels. In a new interview, Jillian dishes on why she is harder this season, as well as how she has changed since becoming a mom!
The Biggest Loser has welcomed the return of trainer, Jillian Michaels this season, but many fans are wondering how motherhood has changed the hard core trainer. In a new interview with In Touch Magazine, the new mom explained how her priorities have changed: “You learn real quick what matters and what doesn’t. It used to be easy for me to work out, but I don’t have as much time now. I can’t do my 90-minute yoga sessions anymore, so now I cycle in the morning for 30 minutes.”
Another thing that many fans have noticed this season is that Jillian Michaels seems to be much harder on the contestants on The Biggest Loser, but why? Michaels has a simple answer for that one, as she told the magazine: “It’s [motherhood] made me more no-nonsense! I won’t let people get away with things I might have before. I’m away from my family, so you’d better be prepared to work!”
This season, which is helping to tackle the issue of obesity in kids, also hits home with Michaels, who suffered from childhood obesity. So it’s no big surprise that Jillian also plans to make sure her children grow up living an active and healthy lifestyle.
