Kristin Cavallari, Dancing With The Stars vet, gave birth last year to a little boy with fiance Jay Cutler. She’s the new spokesperson for Gillette, and last Monday she spoke about life, children, and football; and how she DOESN’T want her son taking to the field in his father’s footsteps. What did she say? Keep reading to find out!
Kristin Cavallari embraced a very vilifying role on The Hills, and shortly thereafter went to grace the stage on Dancing With The Stars. After the birth of her son five months ago, she admitted to struggling to lose the baby weight. But now that she’s back to where she wants to be, her fiance, Jay Cutler, suffered a season-ending concussion. Just days after President Obama admitted he wasn’t sure he’d encourage his children to play football, Kristin admitted the same concerns. In an interview with DNAinfo.com, Kristin said, “I will try to steer Cam in a different direction, maybe a sport that isn’t so aggressive. Maybe baseball — something where he doesn’t have to get hit. At the end of the day, I think if he wants to play football, I don’t know if I’m gonna have too much control over it,” Kristin confessed. “You know, how can your dad be a football player and you tell them that they can’t do it?”
Jay Cutler, however, feels that he would have no problem with his son playing football. “There is a lot of other things I worry about for Cam other than football,” Jay admitted. “I have diabetes, our food situation in America with preservatives and everything else we put into it. That’s something I worry about a lot more than him getting concussions playing football.”
Do you think that Kristin and Jay’s son will take after his father? Let us know in the comments!
