It’s no secret that there is no love loss between Bobbi Kristina Brown and her grandmother, Cissy Houston, ever since Bobbi Kristina hooked up with Nick Gordon shortly after the death of Whitney Houston. But it appears that the family feud was just kicked up a notch as the former Being Bobby Brown co-star has now slammed her grandmother over her book, Remembering Whitney.
In Cissy Houston’s new book, Remembering Whitney, she opens up about the pain of watching her daughter deteriorate over the years as she struggled with a drug addiction. While many folks may be waiting to read what Cissy had to say about it all, her granddaughter is not on that list.
In fact, this past weekend, Bobbi Kristina Brown took to Twitter to air out her feelings, as she posted: “Anything concerning my grandmother’s book, I and [boyfriend] @nickgordon of course personally have nothing to do with…I haven’t read [it] and won’t…I find it to be disrespectful to my mother and me being her daughter won’t tolerate it.”
Cissy Houston also opened up to Oprah last week, explaining that she heard that Bobbi Kristina did not want her to write the book, but she did anyway. Cissy explained that she and Bobbi Kristina are not close. In the book, Cissy writes: “I want people to know the truth about her, how she really was,” as she not only detailed the drug abuse, but she also addressed rumors about her late daughter having a lesbian relationship, and problem that Whitney faced with Bobby Brown.
Do you think Bobbi Kristina is correct in not reading the book? Will you be buying it? We know you have an opinion, and we want to hear it! Comment below to share your thoughts with us!
