Last night on The Bachelor, the drama continued, leaving Sean Lowe shaken up and questioning his future with any of the ladies. Tonight, Sean and the girls are in the beautiful mountains of Canada, where things settled down for a while, until the group date goes terribly wrong – or was that tierra-bly dramatic?
The Bachelor kicked off tonight with Sean Lowe sharing his doubts that his future wife is even in the group of remaining women – yikes! The drama was obviously still on his mind, as well as the bachelorettes, though they were trying to enjoy the beautiful Canadian Lake and mountains.
Catherine was the lucky recipient of the first one-on-one date tonight – in a blizzard no less! They enjoyed a fun day in the snow, sledding, making snow angels and just having a good, old-fashioned fun time. By this point, Sean is confident again that he may have a future wife on the show in Catherine. Sean then took Catherine by horse and buggy to an ice castle built just for them – definitely a stunning sight! While there, Catherine bears her soul to Sean about not taking life for granted, and he responds well – with a rose, because he is “crazy about” her and “can’t get enough” of her. The emotions, romance, and chemistry were off the charts.
Joining Sean for the group date tonight were: Sarah, Tierra, Selma, Lesley, Lindsay, AshLee, and Daniella, who is not happy that she is the only remaining lady to not have any alone time with Sean. After a quick canoe ride, the ladies are shocked to learn that they will be taking a polar bear plunge – Yep, submerging themseleves into freezing water. Needless to say all we heard was Tierra whining upon hearing that. Ugh, can someone make her shut up already? Selma then joins the “whiners club,” and then tells Sean she refuses to do it.
The plus side of the challenge? Even in frigid temperatures, we got to see Sean shirtless again! All of the ladies enjoyed the plunge, but the celebratory mood quickly diminshing when Tierra nearly passes out when she gets out of the water. Hypothermia? Dramatics? We may never truly know! If it was a plot on her part, she played a good game, because she ended up with some more alone time with Sean. Has Tierra outdone Courtney Robertson? Pretty darn close if you ask me!
At the after party, the girls were happily having a blast mocking Tierra (who stayed behind in bed), but were disgusted when Tierra showed up
sniffing out a rose to join the party. Much to her dismay, however, Tierra does not the get rose. Instead, Sean gives it to Lesley, as he feels that have turned a corner in their relationship. Then, in a shocking turn of events, Sean decided that he was “not feeling it” with Sarah, and tried to let her down easy. But my heart broke for Sarah, who has been down this road before, and deemed Sean as being “just like” everyone else.
Des is up next for her second one-on-one date, which again, infuriates Daniella. Sean and Des head to the mountains for a picnic. The kicker? They had to scale down the mountain to their destination. After climbing trees and picnicing, Sean and Des spend the evening sitting by a fire, chatting about their hopes and dreams. Des opened up about growing up in poverty, and Sean appreciated her honesty. Sean knew that Des had concerns and fears as to where she stood with Sean, so he put her fears to rest after a lot of kissing – with a rose! Des admitted that she is falling in love with him.
Cocktail Party and Rose Ceremony
Selma’s up first, and after letting Sean down during the group date, Selma decided to make it up to Sean and kiss him on television! Too bad we weren’t seeing any sparks between these two. Lindsay promised herself that she would not kiss Sean, and instead, she ends up telling Sean that she sleeps naked – and then she kissed him. Sean is comfortable with Lindsay, and even called her the “total package.” AshLee decided to let her vulnerablity show, by asking Sean to blindfold her. He swept her off her feet and they ended up sharing a passionate kiss. Yep, AshLee is falling for him also.
So, who ended up with the remaining roses? Going into the ceremony, Catherine, Lesley, and Des all had roses. Sean then gives the remaining roses to Lindsay, AshLee, and…..Tierra! That meant that both Selma and Daniella were heading home tonight.
