Carrie Underwood Denies Rumors Of Feud With Taylor Swift

Last week, some rumors surfaced that there was a feud going on between two of Country music’s biggest stars, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift. However, despite all the gossip and rumors, Underwood wants to set the record straight – at least from her end. The American Idol alum recently revealed that there is no feud….that she knows of, that is!
Last week, a report surfaced by US Weekly magazine, claiming that there was some sort of feud going on between Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift, revealing that the two Country singers “hate” one another. According to the magazine, folks at the Grammy Awards were “ordered” to keep these two away from each other (although no one from the Grammy Awards could confirm this), and a supposed pal of Swift’s said: “Taylor feels Carrie is always rude to her, so she steers clear of her.”
But according to Carrie Underwood, the rumors are simply not true. When asked about the feud (for upcoming interview which will air on CBS tomorrow), Underwood replied: “No, not that I know of at least.” She even went on to gush about one of Taylor Swift’s songs. So, what’s the deal? Perhaps Taylor Swift is upset that Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley poked fun at her relationship history during a Country Awards show last year? We’ll have to wait and see what Swift has to say about Carrie’s denial of a feud.

TC, why would Carrie be jealous of Taylor? Carrie is a much better singer and is much more mature. Taylor is immature and does not have a great voice. Carrie Underwood being “fake” is like saying Taylor Swift has only dated one guy in the past year, month even.

That’s a tough one. Both seem to have egos much larger than their heads, but I’d probably side with Taylor. She at least seems to have the creative ability to be a big star as long as she fans age with her. Carrie just got a lucky break from a bunch of American Idol fans who happened to like country music. She would not have won on a different year; different audience.
