The Bachelor’s Sean Lowe Explains His Decisions Last Night

February 12, 2013 11:00 AM by Lisa Princ

Last night, Sean Lowe finally got rid of the dead weight Tierra LiCausi on The Bachelor, leaving fans jumping for joy. We’re still wondering though – what took him so long? Lowe recently explained why he made that decision last night.

Bravo to Sean Lowe for finally getting rid of the drama queen, aka Tierra on The Bachelor, but what on earth took him so long? In his blog for People Magazine, Sean admitted that he was hoping for better results with Tierra, as he explained: “She was always kind when she was with me, and I wanted to believe that the drama was circumstantial and that once she wasn’t around a bunch of girls dating the same guy, she would be drama-free.”

However, after his chat with AshLee about Tierra, Sean began to worry whether or not Tierra’s drama would ever cease, admitting that he was worried that choosing her would mean a lifetime of a drama. Umm, we could have told him that! Lowe revealed that when he saw Tierra crying after her blowout with AshLee, he knew what he had to do: “I had already figured by this point that Tierra was not the woman I was going to marry, so when I saw how distraught she was, I knew I had to end it right then and there.”

His final thoughts on Tierra? “I still believe Tierra has more good in her than people see, but I also recognize that she doesn’t have the maturity or social skills necessary to make it on The Bachelor.” We definitely agree with the latter part of that comment, what about you?

As for Lesley, Sean admitted that he was hoping she would open up more emotionally to him, and that is what ultimately led to her departure.

Were you thrilled to see Tierra get the boot last night? What do you think of Sean’s final four? Comment below to share your thoughts with us!

Tierra Licausi Should have been gone after the 2nd day.To her this was all about being the choosen one and comeing into a lot of money being married to the bachelor. The sad part of a show like this he could be the uglyest man in the whole world but because money is attached to him.You will never ever be sure if love was for him or his money.

Hello. I am disappointed to see Tierra go–being a person who is sometimes in the same position that she has gotten into–sometimes people are cruel and they look at the absolute worst and not seeing their gifts. I personally think that had NOT SO MANY WOMEN BEEN CHOSEN for this high drama and high level of estrogen show—then the playing field would be a bit more fairer. I have not been pleased with the behavior of most of the chicks. If I was a man–none of them deserve my honor. I am a Texan. This behavior of making out with all these women is not a good scene—Perhaps his values and morals need to be questioned and re-evaluated. Thank you.

Definitely stoked to see Tierra go. Sorry girl, but you just can’t be that self centered and expect good results. I know the show probably made things out worse than they were, but still. “Men love me”? “Sparkle”? Give me a break. Glad Sean came through for us all in this episode. If he blew it like Jake or Ben, I would have been convinced they’re all getting paid to pick the drama queen.

Tierra is a very sweet girl. This is shocking to me how in this culture being emotional and honest is considered being dramatic. Sean lost my respect after sending her home, and especially after keeping the other girl who made Tierra cry. It was a human thing to do to at least get all the girls together
and talk to them all after Tiera got upset the first time. If course, for Sean, who is the weakest men I’ve ever seen, this would have been too much drama….
