While Taylor Swift spoke in a fake British accent at the 55th Annual Grammy awards, she has yet to speak out about the X Factor guest star’s break-up with Harry Styles. Harry, however, dished to a radio station in London about the demise of their relationship. Keep reading for the details!
Harry Styles and Taylor Swift have been over for about a month now, and Harry appeared on London’s Capitol FM radio to gush about his new single, “One Way Or The Other”, when the subject turned to Taylor. When asked how the singer was handling the split, Harry said, “I’m okay, thank you for asking. I’m good.”
When the radio DJ asked if Styles had any thoughts on the rumored Grammy jab, Styles replied, “She’s a great performer and she always performs great,” Styles said of the Grammys moment. “She’s always good on the stage. She’s been doing it a long time. She knows what she’s doing on stage. It was just another good Taylor Swift performance. It was good.” (How many “Good”s can you have in one quote?
Harry was also asked how he was handling all the paparazzi attention. “I understand why people would want to know stuff like that, I get it. If someone does stuff like that then I want to know about it, too,” he said. “I guess it just kind of. . . It is what it is, I guess.”
While it may seem like it’s coming up roses for Harry, both stars are desperately trying to avoid each other. Harry and Taylor were slated to practice together at Brit Awards before performing; however, plans were changed so the two wouldn’t see each other. A source told The Sun, “It was a bit of an oversight to say the least. The original plans were drawn up a while back when Harry and Taylor bumping into each other wouldn’t have been an issue. But they’re had a bit of a rethink now. Mumford & Sons were meant to be rehearsing on the Monday with Emeli Sande and Ben Howard, but they were happy to switch.
“It could have caused a bit of a headache if the Mumfords kicked off, but fortunately they played ball.”
Maybe the break-up isn’t as amicable as we’ve been led to believe? What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
