This week was a heartbreaking one on The Bachelor, as Sean Lowe sent fan favorite Des home. Tonight, Sean was back and dished on all the heartbreak and drama this season on the special episode, Sean Tells All, but what did he really have to tell?
The Bachelor was back tonight as it was Sean Lowe’s turn to dish on the ladies, but before he could get to that, Chris Harrison grilled him about his intentions in the fantasy suite. Sean explained that he would like to use that alone time away from cameras so that the girls can tell him anything that they may not want everyone to know. Uh huh, sure.
After fan favorite, Desiree was sent packing last night, of course Sean had to dish about that first. Sean claims that sending Des home was heart-wrenching, and “killed him,” but yeah, last we checked, he is still alive. He recounts his decision, and the big question that he kept asking himself was whether or not he saw Des (and Catherine) as his wife. “Catherine was a resounding ‘yes,’ and Des was an ‘I think so,’” Lowe said. He did actually admit that Des’ brother did influence his decision, and ironically, Chris Harrison aired some footage that was not shown last night, where Des’ brother was very nice to Sean, but quickly did a 180 on him.
And of course, everyone wants to know about Sarah Herron, another fan favorite. “Sarah blew me away. She seemed like the type of girl I normally go after,” Sean dished. Sean also wanted to clear the air for the haters who bashed him for making Sarah join the roller derby date, when in fact, Sarah wanted to do it, and did not want to be treated like she had a disability. So what went wrong? It was the last kiss that the couple shared, in which Sean was not feeling the chemistry. He wanted to “give her proper respect” and not make her wait until the rose ceremony. After hearing Sarah’s thoughts as she departed the show, Sean says it “ripped out his heart,” adding that: “someone is gonna love her for the rest of her life, she just hasn’t found it yet.”
Then it was on to dish on the kissers – and lack thereof! Sean revealed that he did not find out about Selma being unable to kiss him until midway through their date. Despite the obvious sexual chemistry between them, Sean was not feeling it. And what about Lesley, his record breaking kisser? Believe it or not, Sean explained that if Lesley had told him that she was falling in love with him on their last date, she may have still been around today. Dang it Lesley!
Tierrable was the next topic for discussion, yippee! What was Sean’s take on watching the footage now? He definitely feels like an idiot for believing her, and he also thinks she should have never been on the show. Sean also revealed that if he had really known what Tierra was up to, he would have let her go sooner. He also said that he should have kept Jackie on the two on one date.
The Bachelor then showed us some funny scenes that we didn’t see this season, such as Catherine constantly passing Sean “nerd notes,” and Sean and Lindsay going crowd surfing during their concert date. But, they weren’t all good, we actually watched as Tierra dragged out her fight with Robyn for what Harrison claims was a few hours. Actually, we watched Tierra fight with just about everyone in the house.
A final thought from Sean – he feels that what happens in the fantasy suites, is no one’s business, and he won’t tell! True gentleman? You decide. On the upcoming previews for the final episodes, it appears that Catherine won’t be doing any funny business in the suites, and AshLee has a tough time with her next adventurous date with Sean.
