Being featured on The Bachelor may initially be considered a huge opportunity, but upon returning to the real world, contestants often realize that they’re better off without all the cameras. This certainly has been the case for Lesley Murphy, one of the current season’s finalists and also one of this season’s rejects. How has Lesley adjusted to her post-Bachelor lifestyle?
You might think of getting rejected by Sean Lowe and being booted off The Bachelor as a bad thing, but that’s not how recently dismissed Lesley Murphy views it. Immediately after her departure, Lesley began counting her blessings. She told Washington Post that’s she’s very grateful, especially as, “I’m very fortunate to have kept my job. My boss was very supportive and let me try this experience and see where it led me.”
While Lesley is grateful to have had the opportunity to be on a reality show, she’s not looking to get back in front of the cameras in the near future. But, she hints, you never know what will happen or which opportunities will arise out of nowhere. “We’ll see what the future holds.”
For now, Lesley’s just enjoying hearing all about the show from her friends and coworkers. “They love it, and can’t get enough of it.” But the big question is, will Lesley still be a fan of the show? For right now, she’s perfectly fine hearing the scoop from loved ones. “I never want to see a rose again in my life.”
Were you sad to see Lesley’s exit on The Bachelor? Any predictions as to which of the remaining contestants will become the new Mrs. Lowe? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below!
