The Bachelorette Gets A Premiere Date

We’ve been so consumed lately with the current season of The Bachelor with Sean Lowe, that we’ve almost forgotten that the new season of The Bachelorette is right around the corner! ABC recently revealed the premiere date, and we’ve learned some details of who will NOT be the show’s next star.
Calling all fans of The Bachelorette! ABC announced this week that the new season will kick off on May 20, 2013 at 9 p.m. EST. The premiere will be 2 hours, and will move into its regular 8 p.m. time slot the following week. We’ve also learned that the identity of the new Bachelorette star will be revealed during The Bachelor’s After The Final Rose special on March 11, 2013.
As for the rumors as to who will be the next Bachelorette star, it has not been leaked out yet – or perhaps they haven’t chosen her yet, but we do have some interesting information regarding who won’t be the star. I am not going to spoil The Bachelor finale for those of you that may not have read the spoilers, but according to Reality Steve, it will not be this season’s runner-up from The Bachelor. So neither Catherine nor Lindsay will be the next Bachelorette.
So, who are the possible choices? Well, there is AshLee Frazier, who was just eliminated, but something tells us she would be too dramatic. There are also Desiree Hartsock and Sarah Herron, both of whom won fans over. We’ve also learned that a 28-year-old pedriatic dentist from Tennessee has been campaigning to get on the show, in hopes of becoming the first woman of color to star as The Bachelorette.
We’ll keep you updated as we hear new spoilers and speculation.

Kacey Boguski should be the next batchelorette, she was on Sean’s season as the surprise 26th person.
