Lamar Odom Falls Asleep During Child Custody Hearing

Lamar Odom of Keeping Up With The Kardashians appeared in court on Tuesday to settle a dispute with former girlfriend and the mother of his three children, Lisa Morales. But Lamar’s conduct may have garnered more attention than his dispute with Morales. What did he do? He fell asleep during the court proceedings. Keep reading for more details.
According to Yahoo Sports, Odom who is now married to Khloe Kardashian is seeking custody of his two surviving children with Morales, daughter Destiny, 14, and son Lamar Jr., 11. On Tuesday, Mar. 5, they appeared in court to settle their differences but when their attorneys left the room to discuss the case, Odom decided to take a little nap.
We all know court can be a little boring, but a nap? That’s not the most respectful thing to do in a court of law, right? Or at least the court officer didn’t think so. The officer approached Odom and asked if he was okay. When Odom said yes, the officer told him he needed to sit up. And while he complied with the officer’s request and sat up, he slumped forward resting his head in his hands.
Around the time of the court hearing, Morales published and open letter in The Daily Beast. In the letter, she talked about Odom’s refusal to propose to her even after a 10-year relationship and multiple children together then noted his quick whirlwind romance and subsequent marriage to Khloe Kardashian. Morales went on to say it can be difficult to avoid hearing about the Kardashians day in and day out.
