X Factor guest judge, Justin Bieber has had a rough week. Not only did his concert get off to a late start on Monday night, there were rumors the pop star was being fined because of it. Then he had a Twitter meltdown sounding off about all the rumors and now we’ve learned he passed out backstage. What’s going on? Keep reading for more details.
According to FOX, Bieber collapsed backstage during his London concert at the O2 Arena on Thursday night, Mar. 7 after complaining of shortness of breath.
Bieber began to have trouble during his up-tempo hit, “Beauty and a Beat.” It was obvious something was wrong as he slowed his pace and then placed his hand on his head before bending over clutching his knees. Then he walked off stage slowly and collapsed shortly thereafter.
Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun came onstage to tell the singer’s fans that he was feeling short of breath but would return to the stage soon. His fans had mixed emotions. Some were crying while others cheered him on in support. Dancers appeared onstage to entertain the crowd until Bieber could return. And that he did, the Biebs was a real trooper and finished the show after a short rest of about 30 minutes and some oxygen.
Following the show, Bieber was rushed to the hospital where he was checked out and later released. While in the hospital, he posted a photo of himself in bed and thanked his fans for pulling him through saying they were the best in the world. A representative for the pop star said, “He’s been feeling a little under the weather [but] he’s currently planning on going ahead with [Friday night’s] show.”
What do you think? Did Bieber over exert himself during his concert? Or has the stress of the week taken a toll? Sound off in the comments section and let us know.
