Bieber ran into a number of problems during his stay in London. He had problems at the Cirque du Soir nightclub while trying to celebrate his 19th birthday, which resulted in him saying it was his worst birthday ever.
He showed up approximately 40 minutes late to for his concert on Monday, Mar. 4 at the O2 Arena. Then at Thursday’s concert, he suffered from shortness of breath during “Beauty and the Beat” and eventually collapsed backstage. After a 30-minute rest and some oxygen, he returned to the stage to complete the show and was later rushed to the hospital to get checked out.
As if that wasn’t enough, he had a run in with a photographer that ended in a verbal fight laced with profanity.
And now, according to MTV, Bieber is backing out of one of his scheduled concert dates in Portugal. His promoter, Everything is New, posted a statement Sunday announcing the cancellation. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber was forced to cancel the second operation, in Portugal, on 12 March,” the statement read. “[However] the Canadian singer is eager to play for the Portuguese fans on 11 March.”
Following his short stay in Portugal, Bieber will move on to Spain for two concert dates, Thursday at the Bizkaia Arena in Ansio-Barakaldo and Saturday at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
What do you think about Bieber canceling one of his concert dates in Portugal? Do you think it has anything to do his London concerts? We know you have an opinion so sound off and let us hear it.
