Lindsay Lohan Not Interested In House Arrest Deal

March 11, 2013 12:00 PM by Stephanie Gustafson

Lindsay Lohan’s options aren’t looking too hot at this point, but apparently, the troubled Punk’d star thinks she can still afford to be choosy. It looks like LiLo will not be taking a generous deal that would keep her out of jail.

Critics often express frustration with the fact that Lindsay Lohan again and again is able to get off easy for behavior that would have the less fortunate in jail for long periods of time. Initially, this once again appeared to be the case, as Lindsay was offered a deal in which she could avoid jail by instead serving 90 days under house arrest. But TMZ reports that Lindsay has refused the deal, as she believes that she has done no wrong and thus does not deserve punishment.

Given the nature of the charges against her, it’s not likely that LiLo will come away free and clear once the upcoming trial arrives at a conclusion. As she has now turned down a deal that others would die for, there’s a good chance that Lindsay will indeed be spending at least a little time behind bars, or, at minimum, in a rehabilitation facility. Lindsay’s attorney insists that rehab time is not the appropriate solution, as “Lindsay doesn’t have a problem with alcohol and drugs. Lindsay’s issues are different.”

But with an extensive history of drug abuse that has been well-documented both in and out of court, it’s hard for anyone to really believe that Lindsay doesn’t have some sort of problem.

Do you think Lindsay Lohan will wind up in jail? Or is the celeb going to once again emerge with a slap on the wrist? Feel free to share your predictions in the comments section below!
