Jillian Michaels Struggles To Balance Parenting And Fitness

This season on The Biggest Loser, Jillian Michaels made her return after taking some time off to start her family. But while returning to the show may have been an easy decision for Michaels, she recently admitted that trying to balance parenting and fitness is proving to be a much more difficult task.

The Biggest Loser‘s hardcore trainer, Jillian Michaels is usually the one helping the contestants as they struggle with balancing fitness, nutrition, and their lives, but now it appears that Michaels is experiencing some of those very same struggles. In the new issue of Fitness Magazine, Michaels explains that being a parent takes a lot of time – time that she used to be able to spend working out!

“I used to say, ‘If you’re going to exercise, then you do it, and you do it 100 percent.’ Now if I’ve got to answer e-mails while I work out on the StairMaster, well, then that’s what it is. People can rub my nose in it, because it is so hard — so hard — to take care of yourself when you’re a parent,” Michaels told the magazine.

And from the sound of things, Michaels is still struggling with trying to balance her own fitness and being a mother of two. She went on to explain: “At the end of the day, I come home, and I’m like, ‘OK, let me bathe you, change you, feed you, read you books, put you to bed.’ Wait, how am I supposed to do all this? Son of a bitch, this is hard.”

Ironically, Jillian Michaels even admitted that this is the exact thing that she used to rip people apart about – finding the time for themselves. But now, here she is, struggling with the exact same thing. Ah Jillian, you’ll find your balance eventually, we are sure!

    Jullian, mothers around the world have figured out on how to balance their lives. Your baby is young, stay home with it more now and then work more later after it starts schooling. Those 1st 5 yrs are very important, bonding time. You don’t need to work so much, you have money. Be a mother first. And stop publicly complaining.
