So You Think You Can Dance guest star, Katy Perry has moved on from her failed 14-month marriage to ex-husband, Russell Brand and now is in what appears to be a serious relationship with John Mayer. There have even been rumors of an engagement swirling about lately. But there’s one lingering piece of leftover Brand business that Perry is anxious to mark off her to-do list, and that is selling the marital abode she once shared with Brand. The problem is she’s having a hard time finding any takers. Keep reading for more details.
According to TMZ, Perry has been trying to get rid of the house she once shared with former husband and British comedian, Russell Brand but much to her dismay, she hasn’t been able to sell it yet. She has full title to the property and has been asking a hefty $8 million for the Hollywood Hills home. And although she was hoping to sell it quietly, so far, she’s been unsuccessful.
However, for the next two weeks, she plans to reduce the price to the mid $7 million range and place the house in the MLS (multiple listing service) as an incentive to entice potential buyers. But sources close to the “Wide Awake” singer have said she will sell the house even if the offers are lower provided they stay within the high $6 million price range.
What do you think about Perry’s real estate woes? Do you think she will be able to sell the house once she reduces the price and puts it in the multiple listing service? And do you think there’s an engagement around the corner for Perry and Mayer? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it so sound off in the comments section and let us know your thoughts.
