Bachelor Pad Will Not Return This Summer

March 18, 2013 01:00 PM by Lisa Princ

Last summer, fans were stunned when Nick Peterson walked away as the lone winner of ABC’s Bachelor Pad, turning on his partner, Rachel Truehart. Just when we thought we could not be more shocked by the show than that very moment, the show goes and gets cancelled. That’s right, Bachelor Pad will not be returning this summer!

It’s true. We’re sorry to disappoint all fans of ABC’s Bachelor Pad, but the show will not return for season four this summer…or perhaps ever. Mike Fleiss, the show’s creator responded to a Tweet this weekend, informing a fan that show will not be returning this summer, and left it at that. ABC then confirmed the news, but again, did not mention whether the show will ever be back, but we’re thinking that it won’t.

I mean, the fact is that the ratings were not great. The first two seasons of the show remained steady around 5-6 million viewers, but last season, they were down to nearly 4 million viewers, earning them a 1.3 in the key demographic. There is also no word yet on what ABC plans to replace the show with this summer, but we’re all bummed that it won’t be filled with Sean Lowe and Desiree Hartsock’s rejects. Whatever will we do without some Tierrable antics this summer? Kidding folks.

Are you shocked by the news that Bachelor Pad is not returning this summer? Do you think the show will be cancelled for good? Will you miss it? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it. Comment below to share your thoughts with us.
