It looks like Oscar-winning actor and director Clint Eastwood is a father-in-law after daughter, Alison wed reality TV star Stacy Poitras of CMT‘s Chainsaw Gang. All the details about the intimate Calabasas ceremony after the jump.
People magazine reports that Clint Eastwood’s daughter, Alison, married reality TV star Stacy Poitras in a small ceremony in Calabasas, California on Friday, March 15.
The bride, 40, wore a 1930s-inspired beaded gown by Les Habitudes. The couple exchanged rings designed by Philip Press at the evening nuptials, which took place at Saddlepeak Lodge.
In attendance, in addition to Alison’s Oscar-winning father, was her mother, Maggie Johnson, Eastwood’s current wife, Dina, the bride’s siblings — Kyle, Scott, and Kathryn — and the groom’s brothers, Mark, Matt, and Bobby.
“We are thrilled to be surrounded by our family for this very special day and appreciate their love and support as we begin our married life together,” the couple told the magazine.
After the ceremony, the guests dined on salmon and elk, with a separate vegetarian meal being prepared for the bride.
Eastwood and Poitras met five years ago when she rode her horse to his studio at the Rustic Canyon General Store and Grill in Agoura, California. The sculptor proposed two years later…after asking Alison’s father for his blessing.
“He looked at me for four or five seconds, which felt like 15 minutes, and then he said, ‘You’re going to have to take that up with her,’” Poitras recalls in the March/April issue of Westlake Magazine. “I said, ‘Is that a yes or a no?’ And he said, ‘That’s a yes,’ and he shook my hand.”
Of course, Alison said, “yes.” The couple announced their engagement in 2012.
Congratulations to Alison and Stacy!
