The Biggest Loser Finale Recap: The Season 14 Winner Is…

March 18, 2013 07:01 PM by Lisa Princ

Last week on The Biggest Loser, we watched as Jeff Nichols and Danni Allen we named the the final two. Tonight, after one more finalist joined them, a winner was crowned!

The Biggest Loser season 14 finale kicked off tonight with the trainers, and Jillian Michaels couldn’t help but poke fun at the “bromance” between Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince – yeah, they’re kind of cute, aren’t they? Then it was straight into the contestant that America voted for.

Jackson was out first, and boy oh boy did he look amazing! His enthusiam was just pouring out – this kid has been inspiring all season. But then Joe came out – wait, or was that Joe in the audience? Joe looked amazing, as did his brother, who was watching from the audience! Too bad only one of them could move on to the weigh in, for The Biggest Loser title and $250K. And that person was, not surprisingly, Jackson!

After a cheer leading performance by Lindsay and some fellow cheerleaders, it was time to kick off the at home prize weigh in. Up first were Pam, Alex, and Nate, all of whom looked stunningly slim! Pam really did up make us say “damn girl,” as promised! Pam lost a total of 71 pounds, while Nate lost 99 pounds, and Alex lost a whopping 84 pounds, putting her in the lead – but would it last?

Francelina, T.C., Michael, and Cate were up next, and honestly, Michael and T.C. looked so slim, but I must say that Michael looked as though he lost enough to win it all. Francelina lost 95 pounds, knocking Alex out of the lead. T.C. lost 110 pounds, Cate lost 64 pounds, and Michael lost a whopping 136 pounds. That was not quite enough to take the lead, but what an inspiration.

Joe, Lisa, David, and the resident whiner, I mean Gina, were the next group up to weigh in. By far, Lisa had the most dramatic change in weight based on her looks, but how much did she actually lose? She lost a massive 108 pounds, which put her in the lead over Francelina – Lisa lost almost 50% of her weight! David was up next, as he lost 102 pounds – amazing, but not enough to beat Lisa out.

After a montage of her whining, Gina hopped on the scale, and lost 113 pounds, putting her in the lead. The final at home contestant, Joe, took the scale next, hoping to beat Gina. Joe lost 147 pounds, but unfortunately, it was not enough to beat out Gina. So, our season 14 whiner won the at home prize of $100K. Yay. Then the stage got a little brighter, as we saw Biingo, who lost over 40 pounds! Biingo also revealed that his family, as a whole, lost about 200 pounds together! Then Biingo was presented with an invitation to join a kids baseball team, how exciting.

Cue the final three – wowzer, did they all look amazing! Okay, so we already saw Jackson, but damn, both Jeff and Danni looked like completely different people. This was definitely tough to call by looking at the finalists. Sunny, the final kid contestant then hit the stage, revealing that she has lost 50 pounds, and she looked gorgeous.

As for the final three, this how they did on the scale:

Jackson from 328 to 190 (-138)

Jeff from 388 to 207 (-181)

Danni from 258 to 137 (-121)

And the winner is…Danni Allen, by one pound!

I watched every episode, except the last one (bummer!), and this was by far the best one yet. Thank you for the motivation to just keep moving.
