Former American Idol judge, Jennifer Lopez, 43, and Chris Brown, 23, have been spending some time in the recording studio with producer Cory Rooney. Are these two powerhouses cooking up a wicked collaboration? Take the jump for more details.
According to E! News, from the looks of the photo and corresponding caption Lopez posted on her Twitter account Thursday, Mar. 21, she and Chris Brown are working in collaboration with producer Cory Rooney on her 10th album, which may be titled Same Girl. “@chrisbrown @CORYROONEY @BEAUcasperSMART @missgillygrace #studiolife #makinghistory #Album10 #SAMEGIRL,” Lopez wrote.
Judging by the photo, Lopez and Brown were both happy and relaxed working in the studio together. Both were casually dressed and all smiles as they leaned into one another for the photo with producer Cory Rooney, who happens to be a regular on the scene when it comes to Lopez’s music.
Rooney has worked with Lopez on many of her songs that have gone on to be big hits such as, “Jenny From the Block,” I’m Real,” “If You Had My Love,” and “Ain’t it Funny.” So we expect nothing less than hit after hit from their latest collaboration as well.
Following Lopez’s Twitter post, Rooney posted the same photo on his Tumbler page with the caption, “Sh*t got real serious up in here tonight…” If his caption is any indication of what we can expect to hear on her album, it sounds like we’re in for some new and exciting work from Lopez and possibly a song or two with Brown.
What do you think about Lopez and Brown possibly singing a song together on her new album? Is it something you would want to hear? Or would you rather pass? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it so sound off in the comments and let us know.
