Celebrity-Apprentice Recap: Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder

March 24, 2013 09:14 PM by Veronica Dudo

This week on Celebrity Apprentice, the all-stars’ marketing skills are put to the test when tasked to promote famous hair products. The contestants must use a glass truck in New York City to demonstrate Farouk Systems products on the NBC reality TV series. The Boardroom Advisors are Donald Trump, Jr. and Arsenio Hall. Keep reading to find out who stays and who is sent packing.

The 11 remaining celebrities return all vying to win money for their charities. This week, they’re tasked with creating marketing campaigns and demonstrations for two of Farouk Systems products: Biosilk and CHI.

Team Power which is made up of Brande Roderick, Omarosa Manigault, Lil Jon, Claudia Jordan and Dennis Rodman are putting together a presentation for CHI. Claudia steps up this week as the Project Manager. At first, Claudia makes a call to get Miss Universe but after waiting all-day, she¬†finds out that Marilu from Team B got her! Claudia has to think quickly on her feet and decides to go with Brande’s suggestion and invites celebrity impersonators. Team Power also uses their celebrity status to take photos with the product and does their makeovers outside the glass truck allowing patrons to walk into the actual truck for photo shoots. They also have the products barcode available so people can go right to CHI’s social media pages.

Over at Plan B, Marilu Henner decides to be the Project Manager leading her team of Stephen Baldwin, Lisa Rinna, Gary Busey, Penn Jillette and Trace Adkins. Gary Busey is keeping track of the team’s money and is trying to prove to his team that he is not the “weakest link.” Marilu secures an appearance by Miss Universe and has Trace Adkins sing and play his guitar on the roof of their glass truck, while Penn Jillete juggles fire. They also offer makeovers inside the truck with their product, Biosilk.

In the Boardroom Donald Trump announces that the executives liked Team B the best and Marilu Henner will get $50,000 for her charity which is the Alzheimer Association.

Back in the Boardroom Claudia decides to bring back Lil Jon and Dennis Rodman. Donald Trump reveals that he has been shocked only a few times in the 13 seasons on Celebrity Apprentice and the most shocked he has been was when La Toya Jackson didn’t bring in Omarosa and again when Claudia doesn’t bring back Omarosa! Claudia tries to strike up an alliance with Lil Jon in an effort to get rid of Dennis Rodman. After talking about marketing strategies and the use of the glass truck, Donald Trump tells Claudia that it wouldn’t have made a difference whether she brought Omarosa into the Boardroom or not. The Donald then decides to fire Claudia Jordan.

How stupid was LaToya and last night Claudia made the same mistake!!!!!!!!!!! of keeping Omarosa! Unbelievable because when Latoya was in charge, she and Claudia went on and on about hating that woman and Claudia basically did the same thing and complaining over and over what a horrible woman she was and did not bring her back and we all know…. she also did not like Omarosa! She and LaToya deserved to be fired for being sooooo STUPID !

I am NOT watching Celebrity Apprentice while Omarosa is on it. I love the show but will not contribute to the ratings as long as that crazy witch is on it. She is beyond villian, she is evil! If we all quit watching til she is gone I bet she’d be fired!

I think this is the worst of all the seasons. It is so obvious that all the firings are staged this year. That is the only reason Omarosa is still on it. I won’t watch it anymore.
