The Voice returns tonight for season four with some new faces as Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera are taking a break from the show. Instead, this season we will see Usher and Shakira join the panel, but what can expect from these two fresh faces?
Tonight is the much awaited return of NBC’s hit singing competition, The Voice, and this season we’ll see two new faces on the panel – Shakira and Usher. However, many fans are on the fence about the whether or not they will be disappointed by the changes this season. So, what can we really expect this season from the new mentors? Well, the show’s host Carson Daly is certain that fans will be pleased, at least when it comes to Shakira, as he recently told the media: “I think America is really going to fall in love with her (Shakira) when the show is on the air.”
Meanwhile, fellow mentor Adam Levine gushed to People Magazine about Shakira’s passion for the talent on the show, claiming she “starts to sweat and have hot flashes” when she wants a contestant on her team. As for Usher, having mentored Justin Bieber already proves what he will bring to the table. “As much as I hate to say this about another coach in the beginning, Usher has done what this show has yet to do,” Adam Levine said recently of Usher.
Rumor also has it that Usher has a very competitive side, and at the time of the audition taping, Shakira was pregnant and hormonal – enough said. It definitely sounds like it’s going to be a blast – let the fun begin!
