Celebrity Apprentice Profile: Lil Jon

Music artist, Lil Jon has been trying to keep the peace on this season of Celebrity Apprentice. He is part of the all-star cast all vying to win money for their charities. The NBC reality TV show is in full-swing and every moment counts as the celebrities are avoiding hearing Donald Trump say, “You’re Fired.” Keep reading to find out more about this music artist.

Over the past decade, Lil Jon has worked in the music industry.┬áHe created a popular southern movement and lifestyle known as Crunk. He is also an artist and hip-hop producer. As the frontman of Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, he has sold millions of records. Some of his hits include “Get Low” and “What U Goin’ Do” which have been among the biggest crossover hip-hop hits.

Lil Jon’s latest album “Crunk Rock” which was released in 2010 includes the successful singles “Shots” and “Outta Your Mind” with LMFAO as well as “Hey” featuring 3OH!3. He won BMI’s Songwriter if the Year award and has received eight Billboard Awards, a Grammy, a Radio Music Award, a BET award, two MTV Video Music Awards, and an American Music Award. He has also worked with several artists like Usher, Ciara, The Ying Yang Twins, and Ice Cube just to name a few. Lil Jon was born and raised in Atlanta and got his start in the music industry working as a DJ in night clubs.

Lil Jon previously competed on Celebrity Apprentice during 2011 and came in fourth place. Currently, while competing on the all-star season of Celebrity Apprentice, Lil Jon is working to raise money for his charity organization, American Diabetes Association.
