Wynonna Judd may not be the best booty shaker on Dancing With The Stars, but one thing is certain – she definitely wants to improve, instead of just making through each week. What better way to improve your skills than to get advice from a former contestant, right? That’s exactly what Wynonna is doing as she revealed that she is being “mentored” by none other than past contestant and fan favorite, Kirstie Alley!
When Wynonna Judd signed up for Dancing With The Stars, her goal was not to simply get by each week, but she wants to become a great dancer. Judd, who is determined to master her skills on the dance floor, revealed recently that she is getting advice from past contestant, Kirstie Alley.
“Kirstie has become my mentor. She will text me and say, ‘Throw your hair back and just go for it,’ I really want to be like that. I’m so caught up in the technical part,” Judd told ET recently during rehearsals.
Wynonna Judd is definitely excited to move on to this week’s performance show, but she also explained that last week’s elimination show was bittersweet for her, because she lost her friend in Dorothy Hamill. “No one knew before the announcement. She’d been quiet that whole day. When I walked out of the press line, the last thing I saw walking to my trailer was Dorothy’s dress hanging there and I just burst into tears,” Judd concluded.
Hmm, we thought everyone knew beforehand….at least wasn’t that the reason Lisa Vanderpump had a hissy fit.
