We haven’t heard much as of late from former teen queen Hilary Duff, for unlike certain celebs her age (ahem, Lindsay Lohan), Hilary’s been living a fairly quiet life. But she’s about to return to acting, joining Punk’d star Ashton Kutcher for an episode of Two and a Half Men.
Hilary Duff fans are in luck, for the actress is returning to the TV screen for the season finale of Two and a Half Men. Hilary is slated to play a potential love interest for Ashton Kutcher’s character — but a love interest that doesn’t end up working out so well, as Ashton ends up falling for the grandmother played by Celebrity Apprentice star Marilu Henner.
Although she had taken quite a break from the limelight in the past several years, Hilary’s actually been fairly busy as of late, guest starring in such hit shows as Community, Gossip Girl and Raising Hope. But with all these guest roles, we have to wonder if the actress is hoping to snag a more permanent spot on a television series. It sure would be interesting to see Lizzie Maguire all grown up!
For now, though, Hilary’s just enjoying her work on Two and a Half Men. She recently updated followers on a successful day of filming, tweeting, “So lucky and excited to work with the beautiful & talented @TheRealMarilu on @TwoHalfMen_CBS this week! Today was a blast!”
