Wynonna Judd may have been eliminated last night on Dancing With The Stars, but the Country star has something wonderful to celebrate this week. What could possible make her smile, despite her elimination? Wynonna’s husband has walked again for the first time in eight months, after having one of his legs amputated.
For those of you who may not know the backstory here, Wynonna Judd’s husband, Michael Scott Moser was in a bad motorcycle wreck back in August that nearly cost him his life. Luckily for Moser, it only cost him one of his legs instead, as he had to have it amputated.
Now, eight months after losing his leg, Wynonna told People Magazine this week: “After eight months of waiting, he walked towards me for the first time two days ago. It’s been an emotional ride for me this week.”
Judd had nothing but praise for her husband, who she noted has been “so positive” through the entire experience. The Country star said that she was surprised when Moser took those steps this week: “It freaked me out because I’ve seen him in a wheelchair and using a walker, and he just walked towards me and I was like, ‘Wow.’ I was so stunned. I saw the wreck, I saw him lose the leg.”
Wynonna also revealed that fellow Dancing With The Stars contestant, Lisa Vanderpump was one of the first people to walk with her husband. Could these two ladies have struck up a friendship? While we are sad to see Judd go from the show, we are thrilled with her good news about her husband!
