There aren’t too many people willing to hire Lindsay Lohan these days, but fortunately, the Punk’d star has a friend in Charlie Sheen. But LiLo managed to even test Charlie’s patience when she arrived late to the set of Anger Management.
Charlie Sheen should serve as excellent inspiration for Lindsay Lohan, for, like Lindsay, Charlie struggled greatly with both drugs and a bad media image. Even so, he’s managed to turn it around, finding an impressive level of success with his hit show Anger Management.
It is because of his past issues that Charlie is so willing to give Lindsay a helping hand. In addition to giving her a guest part on Anger Management and helping her pay off a hefty chunk of tax debt, Charlie offered to serve Lindsay’s mentor. While she was less enthusiastic about the mentoring offer, Lindsay did accept the role. But as expected, her behavior on set was less than exemplary.
During a recent Tonight Show appearance, Charlie explained that, at first, he had high hopes for the troubled celeb. “Day one was fabulous. [Lindsay] was on time. Hit every mark.”
Unfortunately, day one of filming could not last forever. “Then we had to deal with day two. It was as though she had us held hostage because she gave us half a show. No, she had an ear ache and was a little bit … four hours late.”
Charlie added that Lindsay was definitely ready when she finally arrive on set — ready with an excuse! He also denied rumors suggesting that the actress had stolen jewelry from the set, explaining that she borrowed bracelets and agreed to have them taken out of her paycheck.
Bracelets and tardiness aside, Lindsay best be careful. Charlie Sheen might be the celeb’s last hope for reviving her stagnant career.
