This week the all-star cast of NBC’s hit reality TV series, Celebrity Apprentice are tasked with making silent films to promote Australian Gold Products. One project manager is cast aside when a teammate takes over the task. Meanwhile, the other project manager risks everything by going against the advice of a teammate. This week, the Boardroom Advisors are Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump. Keep reading to find out which celebrity gets the boot!
The all-stars are all vying to win money for their charities. The eight remaining celebrities include Marilu Henner, Brande Roderick, Stephen Baldwin, Lisa Rinna, Gary Busey, Penn Jillette, Trace Adkins and Lil Jon. This week, the Boardroom Advisors are Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump.
The teams will be graded on brand messaging, product development and audience creativity.
With the teams uneven, Donald Trump decides to move a player from Team Plan B to Team Power. Trace Adkins says he wants Penn Jillette while Lil Jon says he wants Marilu Henner to join the team. Ultimately, Donald Trump makes the decision and sends Marilu to Team Power.
This week, the celebrities must create a silent movie highlighting Australian Gold products. No one wants to be the Project Manager on Team Power so Trace Adkins steps up to lead Marilu Henner, Lil Jon and Brande Roderick. For their silent film, they decide to show a caveman (Trace Adkins) in a world with “no color” and he explores until he finds girls in bikinis dancing around with Australian Gold products and their end line is, “Live the Gold life.”
Over on Team Plan B, actor, Gary Busey volunteers to be the Project Manager leading Penn Jillette, Lisa Rinna and Stephen Baldwin. Their concept is to show a couple in their bathing suit in the 1920′s and the man (a model) wants the woman (Lisa Rinna) to go in the sun but she is hesitant. Then Gary Busey appears and shows the product, Australian Gold. The next shot is in color and shows the couple happy in the sun with an Australian Gold product. Their end line is, “Brings color to an otherwise black and white world.”
In the boardroom Donald Trump reveals that the executives selected Team Power as the winner therefore Trace Adkins will get $40,000 for his charity, the American Red Cross. So far Trace has won over $700,000 for the Red Cross this season on Celebrity Apprentice.
While Plan B’s silent movie was creative, Donald Trump explains that the Australian Gold executives were not happy that the only product they displayed in the movie was their spray tan. Throughout the season, Gary’s teammates have thrown him under the bus saying he is a distraction but tonight he proved to pull his weight. Everyone on his team agreed that he did a great job leading–including Stephen Baldwin.
Gary Busey decides to bring Stephen Baldwin and Penn Jillette back into the boardroom. While talking about who Gary decided to bring back into the boardroom–Gary says he choose Penn and Stephen since Donald said to bring back two people. Everyone agrees that Penn shouldn’t be there so Donald excuses Penn. Now, it’s down to Gary and Stephen. All of the Trumps praise Gary’s movie but ask him why it lacked other Australian Gold products. Gary says he’s not sure but he left creative aesthetics to Stephen as the Director and that he should have made the suggestion. Donald listens to Stephen who believes Gary is at fault and should have included a shot of other Australian Gold products. Donald Trump says that since Stephen Baldwin agreed that Gary did a good job then he as the director should have thought to put in the shot of other Australian Gold products. The Donald fires Stephen Baldwin.
