X Factor guest judge, Justin Bieber has run into more trouble on his Believe world tour. Not only did he disappoint fans in the London by making them wait nearly two hours before the show finally began; He canceled a concert in Portugal following his stay in the United Kingdom. And now, he’s disappointing more fans by canceling yet another concert date, this time in Oman. What’s up with that? Keep reading for more details.
According to Contact Music, Bieber’s Believe tour was scheduled to make a stop in Oman on May 6 for a show in the capital city Muscat. But concert promoters have released a statement saying those plans have changed. In fact, Bieber has canceled the show and will be performing at a second concert date in Dubai instead. “[We] regret to announce that the Oman show [on the Believe tour] will no longer take place [and] due to overwhelming regional demand, a second show in Dubai has today been announced for May 5,” the statement read.
Fans in Oman were disappointed to say the least but were told they could either apply for refunds or swap their ticket for a seat at the second Dubai show. But was canceling the show in Oman and forcing fans to request refunds or travel to Dubai to see Bieber in concert the best way to handle the demand for a second show in Dubai? Why not do both, keep the concert date in Oman and schedule another date in Dubai, which would have prevented the inconvenience to fans.
