The Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson, 27, is afraid of being injured, and takes every precaution to ensure her safety. So much so in fact, that she recently quit ABC’s Splash because she was afraid she would be hurt on the show. But nothing could have prepared her for the bad car accident she was involved in on Sunday, April 21. What happened? Keep reading for more details.
According to US Weekly, Wilkinson was rushed to Providence Tarzana Medical center on Sunday following a bad car accident. Doctors examined her to access the extent of her injuries and as it turns out, they were not serious. A source close to Wilkinson said she was “in shock” and “really sore” following the accident. And a second source confirmed that she had already been discharged from the hospital.
A car accident is enough to scare anybody and it’s a good thing that Wilkinson was rushed to the hospital to be checked out. Not all injuries are visible and luckily she was okay but either way, it’s better to be safe than sorry, right?
But Sunday’s hospital scare wasn’t the first for Wilkinson. Just last year, she called 911 when her son Hank, now 3-years-old, passed out while playing at home. An ambulance rushed to the scene and took him to the hospital where he was examined and later released. Doctors determined he simply overheated from running around the house in hot weather.
While we can’t be certain what caused Sunday’s accident or if Wilkinson was at fault, we are glad that she didn’t suffer any serious injuries and is at home where she can rest up and recover from the ordeal.
