Kendra Wilkinson Speaks Out Following Hospital Scare

April 22, 2013 01:00 PM by Donna W. Martin

Early today, we learned that The Girls Next Door star, Kendra Wilkinson, 27, was involved in a car accident over the weekend and was rushed to the hospital. And now, Kendra is speaking out about her close call. What did she have to say? Take the jump to find out.

Kendra was involved in a car accident on Sunday, April 21 and was later rushed to the hospital in Tarzana, California where she was examined for possible broken bones and other injuries before later being released. She did not suffer any serious injuries in the crash however, she did say the incident left her in shock and really sore.

It’s completely understandable that she would be in shock. Being involved in a terrible accident is enough to make most people stop and think about what is important in life and to be thankful for their many blessings. And According to Access Hollywood, Wilkinson is no different. Following the car accident, she took to Twitter and while she didn’t go into any detail about the accident or what caused it, she did sound off about what matters most to her.

“Thank you for all the well wishes.” she wrote to her fans that have been tweeting ever since hearing about the accident. “Just really reminded me how fragile life really is and how important love is,” she continued.

Kendra is the wife of former NFL wide receiver, Hank Baskett III and the mother of 3-year-old son Hank IV. We’re happy to report that Kendra is home resting and recovering from the accident where we’re sure she’s getting lots of TLC from husband and son.

Join us in wishing her well.
